General information

Scholarship awarded to a student who graduated with an average of 75% from his last university program and who is newly enrolled in the MBA program at HEC Montreal.
Students are eligible to receive an Arbour scholarship if they have at least two full semesters remaining in their program at the time of the payment of the first scholarship instalment (one fall and one winter semesters).
The Arbour Foundation reserves the right to encourage candidates who have a financial needs and who wish to remain in Quebec after their studies.

Recipients who are not fluent in French will also be required to take a free training course offered by the Arbour Foundation in collaboration with the Fondation pour la langue française.

Special eligibility requirements
  • Have an excellent university record
  • Demonstrates involvement in the community, student associations, or other groups.
  • Willing to attend a selection interview
  • Register full-time for the next year
  • Not have financial support in excess of $35,000 for the year covered by the scholarship (e.g., scholarships, family assistance).

The following criterion will be used to evaluate application files:
  • Academic excellence: 30%

How to submit your application

Submit the form and all the required documents into a single PDF document by email at: sae.candidatures@hec.ca
Note that all academic transcripts submitted must be official copies. You must also include a copy of the grading system for each institution attended. If the documents are not submitted as required, the application may be rejected.

If the application is not submitted as required, it will be considered incomplete and could be rejected without notice.
Note
Note that the scholarship will be paid in 2 installments (Fall and Winter terms) if the student is enrolled full time in his program.
