General information

Grant to help students who have participated face-to-face in a writing retreat organized by the non-profit organization "Thèsez-vous".
A writing retreat is more than 20 hours of consecutive writing, without any other concerns, with about forty students from all disciplines and universities in Quebec.

Only students registered for the thesis program are eligible.
The payment of this scholarship is retroactive.

Evaluation

The following criterion will be used to evaluate application files:
  • Relevance of the activity in the thesis completion: 40%
  • Progress level of the master's thesis: 30%
  • Progression in the program of study: 30%

How to submit your application

Send your application to sae.candidatures@hec.ca
Application must include
  1. Form - Scholarship for Participating in a Writing Retreat
  2. Proof of payment of registration fees
  3. Copy of most recent HEC Montréal transcript (a copy from HEC en ligne is acceptable)
  4. Approved study plan (thesis stream)
If the application is not submitted as required, it will be considered incomplete and could be rejected without notice.
Note
Only applications for participating in a "Thèsez-vous" writing retreat in person will be accepted. Priority will be given to students at the end of their studies and to those who have never received this scholarship. The payment of this scholarship is retroactive.
